About the Role
In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working closely with the Intertidal LA team to support all digital marketing campaigns. Our ideal intern candidate has a fundamental understanding of digital marketing best practices, graphic design abilities, web development experience, and strong communication skills. Applicants should be current students in a bachelor’s degree program in the greater Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities:
Assist with social media campaign planning, copywriting, and community management
Assist with email campaigns, segmentation, and general account management
Assist with web design projects
Work closely with our Creative Director to coordinate photoshoots and assist with the content creation process
Produce and proofread internal and external-facing content and presentations
Collect and report data from marketing campaigns
Manage and update company Notion database
Complete other administrative tasks as needed
Ability to visit the Intertidal LA office in Hermosa Beach 1-2 times/week
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program
Experience using Keynote and other content creation tools
Strong computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
Ability to quickly learn and process information
Tools used: design platform (Keynote), project management system (i.e. Notion), email service provider (i.e. Klaviyo, MailChimp), and web service provider (Squarespace, Shopify, etc.)
Compensation + Term
Paid internship + additional option for school credit
September-December term
